Planet Organic Cocoa is shade grown under forest trees, on small farms, usually in a combined crop system. The Cocoa beans are hand picked and sun-dried on the farms, and then moved through a cooperative system, to ensure farmers receive an equitable return for their crop.

This is a natural cocoa not one that has been ‘Dutched’. This gives it a lighter colour than supermarket brands and a deeper and more bitter taste.
